Duck is an excellent addition to your dog's diet. Most dogs include chicken in their diet - duck and chicken complement each other well. Whilst chicken contains more protein, duck contains more vitamins and is particularly high in iron and copper. Chicken is rich in magnesium, calcium and selenium, duck is lower in cholesterol and sodium. Including both results in a more balanced nutritional profile.
For those dogs allergic or sensitive to chicken, duck is a welcome alternative.
Duck jerky is a chewy treat, suitable for puppies through to older dogs missing a few teeth. For larger adult dogs this is not a long lasting chew, but is a great higher value reward for training.
