Treats with fur are an excellent addition to your dogs diet. Since the fur cannot be digested, as it passes through the gut it gently removes any trapped and undigested food, keeping the gut clean and healthy, and better able to absorb nutrients. As the fur is fibrous, it helps to bulk up stools, ensuring anal glands are kept squeaky clean.
Chewing the fur on ears is also great for dental health. The abrasive action caused by chewing these treats help to dislodge any build up of plaque and tartar.
