Furry rabbit ears are a natural Australian treat for your dog with many health benefits.

As rabbit is rarely found in any commercial meals, this novel protein is an excellent treat for dogs with protein sensitivities, since they are unlikely to have eaten it previously.

Treats with fur are an excellent addition to your dogs diet. Since the fur cannot be digested, as it passes through the gut it gently removes any trapped and undigested food, keeping the gut clean and healthy, and better able to absorb nutrients. As the fur is fibrous, it helps to bulk up stools, ensuring anal glands are kept squeaky clean.

Chewing the fur on ears is also great for dental health. The abrasive action caused by chewing these treats help to dislodge any build up of plaque and tartar.

Chewing is also a calming activity for your dog - the act of chewing releases endorphins, helping your dog to relax. Chewing can be especially useful in dealing with events which your dog finds stressful, eg thunderstorms, loud noise.

Please note that natural treats can be odorous. Whilst we can guarantee that your dog will love the smell, you may not. Strong odour does not indicate any issue with quality or freshness.

Always feed under supervision. Intended for use as a pet treat only not a complete meal. Ensure clean, fresh water is available.
