Common Questions: Goat Pizzle
How does Goat Pizzle compare to traditional beef bully sticks?
Goat Pizzle is naturally smaller and leaner than beef, making it the perfect size for puppies, small breeds, or seniors. It offers great structural integrity for a satisfying chew without being too thick or overwhelming for smaller jaws.
Is this chew suitable for dogs with sensitive stomachs or allergies?
Yes! Goat is a premium novel protein, which means it isn't commonly found in standard dog foods. This makes it much less likely to trigger a reaction, providing the essential building blocks for a healthy diet for dogs on elimination diets or those with itchy skin.
Will this help keep my dog's teeth clean?
Absolutely. As your dog works through the chewy texture, it provides a natural cleaning action against the teeth and gums. It’s a great way to support oral health through daily enrichment rather than a chore.
Is goat a healthy choice for weight management?
Goat is naturally low in fat and high in protein, which is excellent for supporting healthy muscles and maintaining an ideal weight. Plus, because goat is not intensively farmed in Australia, it is a lean and ethical choice you can feel good about feeding.

My pup who has quite a few allergies and is a bit of a fussy eater, absolutely loves these treats. They are great for small dogs too as they are easy for them to chew. The pizzle can be easily broken into smaller pieces too, if wanting to use for training treats or smaller snack /treat size. Thank you Bonza dog for the delicious treats and always great service.
At the risk of sounding rude, Minion puppy just wishes they were bigger! Crunchy and easy to eat - the pup hoovers a couple of these up mist mornings as we leave for work. Suffice to say she wishes we’d leave for work more often!
haha, not all goats are created equal - but seriously, these are great for puppies, small dogs, older dogs with a few teeth missing. For those with a heartier appetite, we'd recommend the beef bully sticks
These keep my chihuahua x quiet for a decent period of time and calm her down after a play session etc. Perfect size. A bit smelly but definitely not the worst
Thanks for your review.
These are good for the smaller dogs and/ or those who don’t have all their teeth left. The girls are missing a few teeth, making beef bully sticks way too thick and hard for them to get through. Echo enjoyed stripping the outside of hers and then chewing on the tougher inner piece for a while. Windy are the whole thing, then ate the inside of Echo’s once she’d had enough (both were happy with this).
I’d say these are great for puppies, small dogs and the dentally challenged. For bigger dogs or power chewers, go the beef bully sticks to avoid a withering glare 😂
No one wants a withering glare lol, but these are definitely a great option for the dogs you mentioned.
