About Kangaroo Ears With Fur: The Natural Anal Gland Solution
Kangaroo ears with fur on are one of the most natural and beneficial treats available for dogs. They are a true functional food.
The fur plays a key role by helping to clean the digestive tract, providing insoluble fibre, and encouraging healthy gut movement. This can assist dogs who struggle with emptying their anal glands - a common issue that often requires regular, costly vet visits.
Kangaroo is a lean, novel protein, making this a great choice for dogs with common meat sensitivities.
Why Dogs Love It / Benefits
Feeding roo ears with fur once or twice a week supports better digestion and improved nutrient absorption. The fur acts as insoluble fibre, gently cleaning the digestive tract as it passes through.
Plus, they are a rare natural source of Manganese, a mineral vital for maintaining strong joints and ligaments. Naturally low in fat, these ears are a smart, functional choice for supporting both gut health and the immune system—because a healthy dog starts from the inside out.
Feeding / Enrichment Ideas
Feed once or twice a week as a treat. Supervise dogs during chewing, especially if they are small or aggressive chewers.
Available Sizes & Suitability
Available in quantities of 5 or 10, without packaging. Suitable for dogs of all sizes.

In the case of a variety pack, it may occasionally be necessary to substitute an item in the event of stock shortage - the replacement will always be another treat of similar or higher value. Please note that the basket shown in our images is a styling prop.
All of our products are natural dog treats. Therefore each treat is unique and will vary in size, shape & colour.
Where pack sizes are shown as weights, these are as accurate as possible given the treats are natural products - it is sometimes not possible to be exact.
Our natural dog treats are dehydrated to retain nutrition. They are free from any additives or preservatives.
Please note that natural treats can be odorous. Whilst we can guarantee that your dog will love the smell, you may not. Strong odour does not indicate any issue with quality or freshness.
Always feed under supervision. Intended for use as a pet treat only not a complete meal. Ensure clean, fresh water is available.
Please store in an airtight container a cool, dry place.
Common Questions: Furry Roo Ears
What is the texture of these ears, and are they like bones?
Unlike bones, furry kangaroo ears have a tough, leathery, and chewy texture. They are firm enough to provide a good "chew session" for most dogs, but they don't have the splintering risk associated with hard marrow bones.
Do these treats have a strong scent?
Because kangaroo is a wild-caught, lean game meat, these ears have a distinct, natural aroma that dogs find incredibly high-value. While the scent is more noticeable than processed treats, it is a sign of a 100% natural product with no artificial deodorizers or chemicals.
How do the fur and fibre help with anal glands?
The fur acts as "insoluble fibre," which isn't fully broken down during digestion. This adds bulk and firmness to your dog's stool. When the stool is firm, it naturally presses against the anal glands during defecation, helping them empty on their own and potentially reducing the need for manual vet expressions.
Can my dog eat the fur, and will it be messy?
Yes, the fur is completely safe and an essential part of the "functional food" benefit. These are air-dried to be non-greasy, making them a relatively clean indoor treat, though we always recommend feeding on a wipeable surface if your dog is a slow, "soulful" chewer.
Is kangaroo a good choice for dogs with food sensitivities?
While no protein is 100% hypoallergenic for every dog, kangaroo is widely considered one of the best-tolerated options. It is a lean, wild-caught protein that is much less likely to trigger the common skin or digestive flare-ups associated with mass-farmed meats like beef or chicken.
I’ve been giving my pups Kangaroo ears for 2 years now and I haven’t had to take them to the vet to clean their teeth. Best thing about it they love these treats.
Every morning after her walk our girl requests one kangaroo ear before she settles in for a day of naps. No kangaroo ear? No naps. These are the pathway for achieving calmness in our household. It works well because they're big enough that they feel substantial for her, but not so big that giving her one daily poses a problem. (She's a big dog.)
I get freaked out by the fur on the ears but the puppy has no hesitation. She tosses them around before chewing so they're back patio or outside chews. So far one ear has lasted 4 chew sessions and I think there are a few more sessions in it.
Fast delivery, and my dog loves them
As soon as these came into the house the dogs were onto them. They could smell them through the packaging. Both of my sausage dogs could not get enough of these. Great treat that will keep them busy chewing for a bit.
